I joined the Martella Family over 11 years ago. During that time I have learned a lot about the electrical service business and the customer service business. I have developed these skills from day-to-day experience, in-house training and attending workshops / business expos. All of these skills help me as I manage and coordinate with the technicians to ensure that you receive the service you have come to expect as well as deserve. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know you, as well as knowing our technicians so that I may dispatch the technician that will be the best fit for you and whose skills will best resolve whatever electrical issues you are having at your home.
When not at work, my wife and I stay busy running after our beautiful, toddler son. I also enjoy playing hockey, snowboarding and I am an avid sports fan.
Master Electrician / Lighting Designer
I grew up in a plumbing and heating family but at the request of Carmen Martella joined the Martella family’s electrical service company. I am now a Master Electrician with over 43 years of knowledge and experience which I enjoy sharing with homeowners like yourself. I like being able to help people understand the issue and giving them that “aha, I get it” moment when it comes to the safety of their home.
In my free time I can usually be found out on the water charting a course in search of Tuna and Marlin or spending time with my lovely wife and our two beautiful daughters.
As a Master Electrician for the last (10) years I enjoy continually learning about my craft and most recently attended Kohler Generator Installation and Service classes. I take great pride in my ability and workmanship and I believe that will be reflected in my service visit to your home.
When I am not working I enjoy quality free time with my wife and our baby along with our “other baby”, the dog. Most people will say that I have a great mix of a dry & “joking around” sense of humor which I enjoy sharing both at working and while spending time with friends while fishing and playing golf.
As a Master Electrician for over 25 years I am excited to have recently become a member of the Martella Electric Family. I feel blessed to have found a company that shares my commitment to personal and professional growth through knowledge and experience. I pride myself in having a strong commitment to my profession, the people and homes I serve, my family and my faith.
As a very involved father of four (4) children my free time is limited but when time permits I enjoy a number of outdoor activities, muscle cars and I am a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
My interest in electrical service and repair began when I attended Vocational School for high school. Though my original plan was to become an auto mechanic; when there were no spots left in that course I enrolled in the classes to become an electrician. From the beginning, the classes just clicked and I knew I had found what I was meant to do. After graduation, I proudly joined the United States Army. Upon my discharge I resumed my career as an electrician which I have enjoyed and continued to grow in, for nearly 20 years. Aside from my enthusiasm and knowledge of electrical service and repair, I will bring to your home knowledge of other service trades, the fact that I am bilingual, my funny sense of humor and my belief in tradition and old fashioned values.
In my spare time I enjoy a number of outdoor activities, doing project around the house but most of all spending time with my loving family.
After proudly serving our country in the U.S. Navy and gaining vast experiences, including jumping out of a perfectly good plane, I chose to become an electrician. I am currently an A-1 Electrician and continue my training and skill building on a daily basis. Not only do I come to your home carrying my tools but I also bring with me my proud tradition of serving others, respectfulness and strong work ethic.
My beautiful wife and I are the proud parents of (2) amazing little girls. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy playing hockey and a good round of golf.
Andrew Martella Jr
After years of watching my Grandfather, Father and Uncle Richard it became apparent to me that not only is the electrical service and repair business in my blood but it is my calling. I am currently working on my business degree which I pair with my knowledge of electrical service and repair. It is these skills; those learned in a classroom, those instilled by my family and those that were instilled in me during my journey to becoming an Eagle Scout that I bring with me when I come to your home.
In my free time I enjoy muscle cars, working on cars and spending time with my family and friends.
Vice President / Safety Advisor
I am a Master Electrician with over 40 years of experience and knowledge which I bring to your home with each visit. In addition, I bring with me the values (quality workmanship, fair pricing, respect, professionalism) that have been instilled in me my entire life. My father started Martella Electric in 1955 and it has been by great honor to carry on the values my parents taught me, my brothers and sisters. These values were further impressed upon me during my years in Boy Scouts, of which I am proud to be an Eagle Scout.
My lovely bride of over 40 years and I enjoy watching all movie genres and trying new restaurants. We are also cruisers and love to share the stories of our travels.
President / General Manager
My success as a husband, father and business owner is a direct result of many factors. The most important is being married to my friend and wife Susan Martella for over 31 years. My college education in Energy Engineering, covering many technical subjects from Electric Cars to Nuclear power plants, has certainly contributed as well. Currently, my association with the largest member owned organization for service contractors in the United States, Success Group International and Electricians Success International have expanded and sustained my knowledge base to allow me to grow Martella Electric Company 3rd generation of continuous service to Delaware County, the Main Line and Chester into our 3 County areas. Without the guidance and training of my father, Carmen Martella, this opportunity would not have been possible.
I started the company in 1955 and built it on a reputation of honest, clean, courteous, and efficient service at a fair price. I graduated from Bok Vocational School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1947. Along the way two of my sons Richard and Andrew have joined with me to help build the business we have today. We are members of the Philadelphia Electrical Association, The Independent Electrical Contractors and Delco Chamber of Commerce.
