"Professional and straight forward"The technician arrived right at the beginning of our window, offered to cover his shoes and was very straight forward about possible costs, which I liked. The problem, which has been going on for so long, was diagnosed and fixed in well under an hour. I mentioned several other issues in the house and he patiently addressed all of them, offering an estimate for one problem that we aren't ready to address. "Great service""I call Martella Electric and ask for Mark because I have trust in both the company and in Mark that the work will be done correctly and completely.Kathy,who coordinates the appointmts (hope I've remembered her name), is professional with a very courteous,helpful manner.Appointmts are on time which is important.Mark, the electrician, has done work in our house a couple times, and I appreciate his work skill and manners.He's always very polite and willing to answer questions and/or explain something I don't understand.. If while working, he runs into something unexpected, he checks with me to ask what I want to do, and explains alternatives.All very important for customer satisfaction. Re pricing, I feel some of the prices are too high.This appointmt we had a fan installed in a bedrm.It was a Hunter 5 Minute Fan (supposed to be able to install in 5 minutes, which I know isn't necessarily true), and the charge was $198.This was in addition to a $218 charge to put in a fan box to support the fan.Mark told me the charges for both ahead of time, and said that was company policy, which I appreciate and respect.We also had a smoke alarm to install, and we were not charged for that, so that did help. The charge form is very clear which is good, and specific charges are listed, but it doesn't seem there's room for determining charge based on time spent/difficulty of the job.For instance, I can see that to install some fans in some locations, this charge might be necessary, but to install a simple fan in a twin house bedrm (no furniture to move), the charge doesn't seem to fit.The company does offer a discounted ""club rate""for customers, which also includes a free annual inspection of the home's electrical system. This is available for a $139 annual fee."- MaryJo
